The 8th Delta Conference on the teaching and learning of undergraduate mathematics and statistics. This year it is going to be held at the Millennium Hotel on the edge of Lake Rotorua.
Keynote speakers on Teacher’s Day for Delta will include John Mason, Caroline Yoon and Chris Sangwin, and the committee will schedule as many talks of interest to teacher’s as possible.

The Auckland Mathematics Association is providing transport for any teachers wanting to attend the teacher’s day at Delta. Leaving Auckland late afternoon on Sunday 27th November and returning evening of the 28th November. All you will need to do is book accommodation for the Sunday night. The 2011 conference will commence with a welcome reception and opening address on Sunday 27 November, and finish 5 days later with a plenary address before closing around lunchtime on Friday 2nd December.
Wednesday 30 November is reserved for excursions, which will explore the scenic thermal wonders of Rotorua.
Delta ’11 is jointly organised by the Departments of Mathematics, Engineering Science and Statistics at The University of Auckland; and the International Delta Steering Committee.
