- The key to success in University Mathematics, at the level required for the majors listed above, is the Differentiation Standard 91578.
- Students without the Differentiation Standard 91578 generally struggle to meet the required level, they have a pass rate of 46%.
- Students with the Differentiation Standard 91578 have much more success in the required Maths course, with a pass rate of 85%.
- Other NCEA Standards in Mathematics with Calculus and Mathematics with Statistics, show no significant correlation.
