The professional Association for Auckland Mathematics & Statistics Teachers.

AMA seeks to promote, support and improve statistical and mathematical education in the Auckland region.

AMA fosters cooperation and stimulates discussion. It disseminates ideas, strategies, research findings, materials and information using its newsletters, conferences and workshops, and via this website.

AMA Scholarship

The Auckland Mathematical Association will award one scholarship annually to reimburse the fees paid to study a 15 point post graduate paper in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education or Statistics Education at any Auckland tertiary institution.

Margaret and John Kalman Teaching Prize 2019

DUE DATE: Closes Friday, 2nd August 2019

The Margaret and John Kalman Charitable Trust is generously awarding four prizes of $5,000 which will be presented to the winning teachers at their end of year senior prize-giving. In addition, the teachers and 15 of their students will be invited to visit the University of Auckland.
