6 cash prizes of $5000 each to be awarded this year.
Is open to any teacher of mathematics and statistics in New Zealand primary, intermediate and secondary schools.

Teacher Fellowships for 2025
In addition to the teacher prizes there are five Kalman Teacher Fellowships
There are five prestigious fellowships available for 2024 are to support teachers wishing to study postgraduate mathematics and statistics education at the University of Auckland.
Applications are open to primary, intermediate and secondary school teachers in the Auckland region.
Fellowships include a $2500 honorarium to the teacher fellow to use as they wish, as well as up to $2400 towards the fellow’s fees for 1-2 courses and $100 for administration costs. A total of $5000.
