Its great to see the message got out and schools from all over Aotearoa | New Zealand took part in the inaugural online maths olympiad.
540 students in years 7 to 11, representing 160 schools spread from northland to the southland took part.3 29 of them from 73 schools across Auckland.

The New Zealand Online Mathematical Olympiad (NZOMO) was independently run and not affiliated with our NZ Maths Olympiad (NZMO)
It has provided the students who took part with a great warm up for Round One of the NZMO which this year is also starting online and open to students from year 7 to year 11.
Problems for Round one of NZMO will be released on June 20th and students will have until 28th July to submit their answers.
