This years theme … Bring Your Own “big ideas” for teaching statistics

When : Monday November 30

Where: The University of Auckland City Campus

We’re looking for teachers to present at the AMA Statistics Teachers’ Day, teachers want to hear from their colleagues and we know many of you are doing amazing things in your classroom that you might think are ordinary.  We can support you if you will be presenting for the first time or if you are a regular so don’t be shy.

This year here are two options for presenters:

  • 60-minute workshop: Workshops where participants are involved in hands-on activities and where teaching is modelled (max two presenters)
  • 120-minute workshop: Workshops for teachers new to teaching statistics or workshops where participants can gain an in-depth understanding of one area of the statistics curriculum (max two presenters)

Please use this form to find out more and to register your interest in presenting. Presenters get to attend the event for Free 🙂
